Sleep soundly with Groromper

How many times have you heard someone say that their baby was a good sleeper until they turned into a toddler? Once happily snuggled up in their cot for 10-12 hours a night, the toddler years come along and suddenly they’re wriggling around, climbing out of bed and waking up early.

Parenthood is tiring enough without losing sleep at night, so anything that can help your toddler sleep has to be worth a try, right?

I swore by sleeping bags when all my girls were babies, keeping them warm all night long. Even if they kicked off or wriggled out of their blankets, I knew they were still warm and snug no matter how cold the nights were. But once they get to walking and hopping out of their cot alone, sleeping bags became too restrictive – but what next?

The Groromper is the newest addition to The Gro Company range of sleep products designed just for toddlers – an all in one warm sleepsuit to help keep them warm all night long. With legs, arms and feet covers the Groromper it’s like a wearable doona, more versatile than a sleeping bag because your toddler can move freely and walk around in it.

groromper 1

The Groromper is an all-in-one bedding solution for toddlers and pre-school aged children, a ‘onesie’ sleepsuit to be worn in bed, in place of blankets or a doona even, depending on where you live. The cosy jacquard fabric helps keep your little one warm right throughout the night in a warm 2.5 tog, while the breathable mesh underarms help keep their temperature regulated to ensure they don’t get too hot if they do have blankets on top.

I love the versatility of this suit – with foldover feet covers so you can have their feet in or out, and a thick, good quality easy reversible zip for potty training or nappy changes. Made from luxurious thick jacquard fabric in a warm 2.5 tog rating (warmth rating) it will help keep children warm all through the night into the early hours of the morning*.

The reversible YKK thick quality zip allows for checking for nappy changes, and if you’re on the move the Groromper can be used with a five point harness for transferring sleepy little ones to bed without disturbing them. A very handy idea if you’re coming home late from a friend’s or Grandma’s house.

groromper 2

It’s such soft, quality fabric; easily washable and just throw it in the dryer for wear night after night. There is plenty of room for a nappy and singlet underneath too. Little wrigglers will stay cosy, warm and super comfy in the Groromper.

The Groromper comes in blue and pink in comfortable jacquard stripe fabric in two sizes, 12-24 months for younger ones and 24-36 months for older toddlers like mine.

The Groromper has been developed with the same high safety standards of the Grobag in mind, including features such as underarm mesh, measured warmth rating and high quality fabrics. The safety cover over the zip protects little fingers and soft neck skin from any harm, and the reversible zip is really convenient.

It also includes:

  • Machine washable
  • Safe breathable under arm mesh vents regulate temperature
  • Foldover grip foot covers to keep feet warm and cosy or cool

The Gro Company have all the bases covered when it comes to baby and toddler’s sleep as one of the world’s most award-winning nursery brands. A household name they are well known for the Grobag sleeping bag range, Groclock and Groegg temperature monitor to name a few. Not only are the products super easy to use and safe, but they’re excellent quality and so handy for promoting sleep.

Additional Features of the Groromper include:

  • Keeps toddlers at a comfortable temperature
  • Luxurious comfortable thick Jacquard fabric in both blue and pink stripe
  • Knits create pockets which allow air flow to cushion your baby
  • Zip guard to prevent rubbing and litte ones opening their zips
  • Can be used with a 5 point harness for car trips
  • High quality large YKK zip

* Please note: Use the warmth rating as a guide, depending on where you live you may need to add blankets or a doona. For more information on suitable bedding for the Groromper go to

Where I live it gets down to -11 degress celsius at night during winter so anything to help keep my little man warm and stay in his bed longer would be wonderful!!

This is just what we’ve been looking for! A sleeping suit that allows our toddler to walk around and still access the potty easily. Loving the addition of fold over grip foot covers! It ticks all the boxes. @vydaandmaya

My daughter loves her sleeping bag but we are about to move her to a big girl bed and am worried about changing everything on her all at once. The groromper would mean she could have something of her ‘old life’ while getting use to the new @amzsaunders

The groromper would be perfect for my little one who seems to spend more time attempting to kick the blankets away rather than sleeping (just like her dad!)

I have been wondering what comes next after the sleep sack! My daughter turns 2 next month and since she came out of a swaddle as a newborn, she has been in grobags. We love them! I always know she is warm and comfortable when I put her down for a sleep. We are hoping to transition her into a bed soon but any time we put a blanket over her, she ends up at the top of her cot and the blanket ends up at the bottom! This would be absolutely perfect! We’d love to win.

I would love to win this for the piece of mind of knowing that my kids are always warm enough and comfortable. My daughter is very sensitive with clothing and I believe this will be perfect for her. @clarallerena

My 10 month old would love a gro romper. He is super active and currently tried to stand in his sleeping back because he is learning to walk 😱 The gro romper would help him safely practice his standing skills and get him ready to walk. (wecan.weatherall)

This Groromper would be perfect for my toddler or my super tall infant. They both hate sleeping bags and blankets. I love the fact they can walk or crawl around in them in the mornings. The grip covers are a plus keeping them cosy or cool.

Why change a good thing? We have had our gro bags from day dot..the quality and reliability of the product has spoken volumes since birth, with all three…and it just makes sense to continue with the same brand, and move up to the GroRomper. Our youngest is transitioning into her big bed, and potty training is coming up. The reversable zips are a huge plus…and knowing her temperature is covered suring the night. We are heavy campers and I love that these are easy-to-use in sometimes the most strangest of places x

As a new and young parent I love reading about products who parents themselves rate them as amazing and good products. My 17 month old son is at a age where he doesn’t want to covered and I always have to make sure he’s dressed in long pjs so he dosnt get chilly at night. The groromper sounds amazing and this will probably be a an item I’d have my upcoming newborn wear too.

I love this idea. My son is still in his cot at 2 and a half but he still gets out, wriggles out of his blankie and sheets and I bet this is why he’s always up! I need sleep! I love the blue colour too.

I love the idea of a suit they can wear as pyjamas to wear all night long. Why didn’t someone think of this sooner. It would be like wearing a doona all night they can’t kick off. Would love this for little Miss 18 months to keep her warm and snug!

I never enter competitions but this really is exactly what I need at the moment. I have a baby girl who is almost 21 months and would really benefit her sleep to have a GROromper for her day naps in the pram and night naps in her cot. I never really thought about her being cold but now I realize that she really must be or else it is something else and I’ve tried everything. Would be so amazing to WIN!

Grobags have been our family staple for years with my two boys and now with another one on the way I know that this would be the best thing for my baby soon to be toddler to prepare for another newborn in the house. Looks great too, very pretty colors.

Our 20mo has started unzipping herself from her grow bag in the mornings so she can move around her cot freely (to jump, dance, play and god knows what else!! 😂). The growsuit would be ideal for this age and I’d worry much less about her not catching a cold during winter!
